Course Outline

• Core components of the Computer System unit

• Primary troubleshooting techniques of the Computer system and its common peripherals

• Uninstallation of unwanted drivers & programs, importance of system recovery and the recovery options available in the OS

• Common networking terminologies and learn to configure a basic network

• Data Backup and configure data backup manually & automatically

• Importance of Antivirus and installation/update of antivirus and different OS like Windows 8

Course outcome

• User will have ability to open, identify the various categories of device manager.

• Will be able to identify devices not working properly in the device manager and to reinstall a new driver if required.

• Will be able to open system recovery options & create system recovery disc in Windows 7.

• User will also have ability to install and uninstall operating system.
